PURY Gel Purification Kit

The PURY Gel Purification Kit rapidly and reliably purifies up to 40 μg of concentrated, high-quality DNA from agarose gels. The kit utilizes a bind/wash/elute workflow with minimal incubation and spin times. The kit utilizes a proprietary silica-based membrane technology in the form of a convenient spin column. The kit can be used to purify DNA fragments from 70 bp to 10 kb in size with recovery rates

up to 95%. Each PURY Spin Column has a binding capacity of up to 40 μg of DNA and can process up to 1 g of agarose gel. The buffers provided have been optimized, and do not require monitoring of pH. Unlike other kits, there is no need to add isopropanol to the melted agarose prior to loading on the column, saving you a step. The entire procedure takes just 15 minutes, and the isolated DNA is ready 

to use in all common downstream applications, including ligation, restriction digestion, PCR, sequencing, and labeling Eluted DNA is ready for use in restriction digests, DNA sequencing, ligation and other enzymatic manipulations.
