The serum is initially fractionated using a proprietary heat-shock method and is further isolated from other plasma proteins and lipids by extensive membrane dialysis and filtration. All lots have undetectable protease, IgG, and are virtually free of contaminating enzymes, salts, heavy metals, and low molecular-weight contaminates that can result in low background interference.
